1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning ("Aladdin's," "we," "us," "our"), a family-owned carpet and upholstery cleaning company serving Knoxville TN and Greater Boston. The website at aladdinscarpetcleaners.com is operated by us. 2. What we collect

We collect three categories of information.

2.1 Information you give us

• Contact information: first and last name, phone number, email address.
• Service details: street address, apartment/unit, city, ZIP code, the service you're requesting, room count, any add-ons, and free-text notes you choose to share.
• Communication content: messages you send us through the form, by email, by text, or by phone.
• SMS consent record: if you opt in to receive text messages, we record the timestamp, the IP address that submitted the consent, and the wording of the consent disclosure that was on screen at the time. This is the audit trail required by the FCC and by mobile carriers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request data — IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, request timestamp — for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies for things like session continuity. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site as of the effective date above. If that changes, we will update this section and provide a cookie banner where required.

2.3 Information from third parties

• Reviews: we display public Google review counts and ratings pulled from your public Google Business Profile review of us. We do not associate that public review with any other personal data.

3. How we use your information

• To prepare and deliver a quote for the work you asked about.
• To schedule, perform, and follow up on the cleaning job.
• To process payment and send invoices/receipts for completed work.
• To send appointment confirmations, dispatch updates, and post-service follow-ups by email, phone, or — only with your consent — by SMS.
• To send promotional offers (such as the current 10% off any cleaning offer) by SMS — only when you have given separate, written, opt-in consent on the form.
• To respond to questions, complaints, and warranty claims under our 10-day redo guarantee.
• To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of the site (honeypot fields, rate limits, server logs).
• To comply with our legal obligations (tax records, subpoenas, lawful requests).

We do not use your information for any purpose that's materially different from these without first telling you and, where required, asking your permission.

4. SMS / text messaging — A2P 10DLC disclosure

This section describes how we use mobile phone numbers and what you're agreeing to when you opt in to receive text messages from Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. It exists because mobile carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and others) and the FCC require it. Read it carefully.

4.1 Program description

When you check the SMS consent box on our quote form (or otherwise expressly opt in), you agree to receive automated and non-automated text messages from Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning at the mobile number you provided. Message types may include:

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, dispatch ETAs, and on-the-way notices.
• Quote follow-ups and questions about the job (e.g., gate codes, parking, pet info).
• Post-service messages, invoices, payment receipts, and review requests.
• Occasional promotional offers from Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, such as the current "10% off any cleaning" offer.

4.2 Frequency, costs, and carrier disclaimer

• Message frequency varies based on how active your job is. As a rule of thumb, expect up to ~10 messages per scheduled job and no more than a few promotional messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates from your wireless carrier apply to every message you receive or send.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers: all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carrier support can change without notice.

4.3 How to opt out (STOP)

You can stop receiving texts from us at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further texts. You can opt back in by replying START or by submitting the consent box on the form again.

4.5 Consent is not a condition of purchase

You do not have to agree to receive promotional texts in order to get a quote, book a cleaning, or buy any service from us. If you skip the SMS opt-in, we will simply communicate with you by email and phone instead.

4.6 No sharing of phone or SMS data with third parties for marketing

Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or text message content to any third party for that third party's marketing purposes — under any circumstances. The only parties that ever see this data are: (a) Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning staff who need it to do the job; (b) our service providers acting on our written instructions (see Section 5); and (c) recipients required by law (e.g., a court order). This disclosure is provided to comply with the CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook, the Mobile Marketing Association best practices, and individual carrier requirements (in particular T-Mobile's 10DLC policy).

5. Service providers we use ("data processors")

We use a small set of third-party services to operate the website and the booking pipeline. These vendors only see the data they need to do their job for us, and they are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes:

• Cloudflare Pages — hosts the website and serves the form-handling endpoints. Sees server logs, IP, and form-submission contents in transit.
• HighLevel ("GoHighLevel" / GHL) — our customer-relationship-management (CRM) platform. Receives form submissions, stores contact records, and powers the booking calendar and the SMS sending. HighLevel is a HIPAA-eligible, U.S.-based platform; it acts as our data processor.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site. Google may receive your IP address as part of the font request. We do not pass any other data to Google through this site.
• Wireless carriers and SMS aggregators — required to deliver any text messages we send to your phone (Twilio / HighLevel's SMS infrastructure and the destination carrier).

We do not currently run Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook tracking pixels, or other cross-site advertising tags on this site. If we add any in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, present a consent banner.

6. How we share information (and how we don't)

We share your information only in these limited cases:

• With our service providers as described in Section 5.
• To comply with the law — for example, a valid subpoena, court order, or government request.
• To protect rights, property, and safety — ours, yours, or a third party's, including investigating fraud or abuse.
• With your direction — for example, if you ask us to send a receipt to your insurance company or property manager.
• In a business transfer — if Aladdin's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the successor under the same protections as this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising — as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA").

7. How long we keep your information

• Active customer records — kept for as long as you are a customer and for seven (7) years after your last completed job, to support warranty claims and tax compliance.
• Quote requests that don't convert — kept for up to two (2) years, then deleted or anonymized.
• SMS consent records — kept for the life of the opt-in plus four (4) years after opt-out, as required to demonstrate consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA").
• Server logs — kept by Cloudflare on a rolling short-term basis (typically 30 days or less).

8. Your rights and choices

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to do any of the following with your information. We will respond within 30 days.

• Access — get a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Correct — fix anything that's wrong or out of date.
• Delete — remove your information from our systems, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g., we have to keep transaction records for tax purposes).
• Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from email lists, reply STOP to texts, or ask us in writing.
• Restrict or object — ask us to limit how we use your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email aladdin@aladdinscarpetcleaners.com with the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request — usually by confirming the email address or phone number on file.

8.1 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories we disclose; the right to delete; the right to correct; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. 8.2 Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly.

9. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults (18 and older) who can lawfully enter into a service contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at aladdin@aladdinscarpetcleaners.com and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — including HTTPS in transit, access controls on the CRM, and limited staff access on a need-to-know basis. No system on the open internet is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd treat our own family's.

11. International users

Our services are offered only in the United States. The site and our CRM operate on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, for material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have one on file) or by a prominent notice on the site. The current version always lives at aladdinscarpetcleaners.com/privacy/.
